WE’RE OPEN!

Gather the flock – we’re ecstatic to announce that Bird’s Nest’s brand new venue is now open!

Our second space is set in Fortitude Valley’s vibrant Ann Street, with guaranteed late night dining available in the city’s party hub 7 days a week. An all-new drinks menu is exclusive to our new space, perfect for kicking the evening off or extending the fun throughout dinner.

Diners will experience a classic form of Japanese dining at Bird’s Nest Fortitude Valley. Drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese drinking houses, the focus of our Izakaya dining style settles on dining, drinking, and repeating as necessary. Safe to say, no guests will leave wanting for anything after a night in the Nest!

Also migrating to our second venue is Bird’s Nest’s famous yakitori. Join us for dinner and a show as our talented chefs grill a selection of mouth-watering skewers over hot coals. From juicy chicken tenderloins to smoky grilled mushrooms, our wide range of yakitori is ready for a late-night taste test.

Fly over to Bird’s Nest Fortitude Valley for new tastes, old favourites, and late night dining!

Sake Masterclass Brisbane

Rey Takahashi

Drawing on his Japanese roots, Australian born Rey is the son of restaurateur turned business man Saka Takahashi, the brains behind the wildly successful Sakenet Australia. During his time abroad in China, Rey studied a broad range of interests including Kung Fu and Capoeira, but it was his passion for sake that led him to pursue a career as a Kura-Bito (sake maker).

For six months he honed his skills and passion at Hiokizakura before returning to Australian shores to share his wealth of knowledge. Happily installed in the family business, Rey now travels around the country educating a lucky few on the spirit that has become his life’s work.

For $45pp, put your palate to the test and indulge in a selection of rare and imported sakes paired with some delicious nibbles from the Bird’s Nest kitchen.

This is a ticketed event and places are strictly limited. Book now to avoid missing out on your chance to be a part of the city’s most exclusive sake event.
